You thought the Adolf series was dead? THINK AGAIN, MOTHER-LOVERS! After a retro fad of loving everything cool back in 2006, the Adolf series was brought back up on VH1's recent special 'I love the 00's: 2006'. The topic of the Adolf series came up, and everyone got excited! Hal Sparks made a hilarious joke about what sex toy Adolf would use to battle off evil enemies. Scott Ian said he owned every single Adolf movie ever! Weird Al recounts the time he did the song "Virus Alert" exclusively for the movie "Adolf Versus the Octopus!!!"! When Adolf series creator Alfred 'Underscore' Studley was asked about the possibility of Adolf returning, he replied "It's in the works, man, it's in the works!"

And now, fans, your prayers HAVE BEEN ANSWERED! Adolf is returning to your DVD players this Fall in "Adolf in the Land of DINOSAURS!" Dissapointing.

It's been a while since I've seen a major sprite movie on NG, and after seeing this on the front page and the reviews around it, I decided to give this a spin. Well, I can say a lot of effort was put in and that it was cool to see some games that don't get enough Flashes on NG. (There needs to be more Donkey Kong shorts) Otherwise, what I got was a mixed bag.

Unlike some of the other low reviews, I actually enjoyed the visuals. What's wrong with mixing 8/16-bit sprites together? When they're done right, they look good. When they're done wrong, they look like shit, which is true. But in the case of this movie, the presenters did a very good job with it. I'll admit, some of the work did look sloppy and too hi-res, but not the majority of it.

For the movie itself, it needed to be presented in a different matter. Static as transitions = oldest thing in the book, even before Robot Chicken. This is the worst thing about sprite compilation Flashes and the whole static visual/audio part really disrupts the flow of these kinds of things. C'mon, people, do some experimenting with transitions or something, maybe even similar to Mr. Show! God, please, no more static transitions!

Humor itself, not to sound like a "THIS WASN'T FUNNY I'M THE KING OF COMEDY AND THIS ISN'T COMEDY HUR HURH HURH" jackass, but random sound byte from movie/music combined to sprites = not really funny anymore. I got a few chuckles out from the movie, like the Donkey Kong short (like i said we need more DK flashes ok plz thx) and the salmonella commercial, everything else I just watched and went "God, is this short over yet?". The Viagra parody was the worst offender; Got it the first time, when it came back the second time it went overboard, and not even funny as a prank on the audience.

Can't think of anything else about this movie, but overall, it had some strengths, but the weaknesses overpowered the movie entirely. Keep in mind the criticism if you do another one, though, as I think some changes could help it greatly.

Thank you. We only used two sound clips in two skits. And we definitely wouldn't of used the tv static if it wasn't for the fact that its AN ACTUAL TV. Thanks again for the review.

Never saw the original.

But that was fantastic work nonetheless. The ending was real hilarious. I'm surprised that he didn't just shoot the guy playing the music though. Real excellent.

I was wondering when I'd see new movies by you. Great stuff, I'd never even seen have these movies and yet I knew where they were from. The characters that were used made it even better. Awesome job.

Okay that was fucking awesome.

That scene with Tom jumping to the front of the line was one of the greatest things I've seen on Newgrounds. Everything else was great too but I just lost myself at that scene.

I've never seen a Wonchop movie, actually.

But he seems like a SWELL FELLOW now!!! He really shows everyone who's boss! O RLY indeed LMFAO!!!

Everything in this movie wasn't noisy enough though. Damnit, Wonchop needs more noise to convey his anger. And sprites too, I guess. Does he do sprites? Fuck it, everybody votes 5 for sprites.

I really loved the music used in this! Fit the mood for such a fantastic artist. xh4ck is back, he can never ever EVER be whack. This movie makes me proud to be a USA citizen and I wish the best for our boys in Iraq.
