Rockman Neo was a fucking fantastic flash
Allow me to clarify, it was a good idea that was poorly animated and poorly executed, but it did show how Flash can be used to give the Illusion of actual animation skill. To that end, then, it did what it was supposed to do: give us all an example of work that is pure short-cuts in order to allow us all to do better as animators. But I would still rather do it all by hand with pencils...flash it still too distant a tool for me to use...
Rockman Neo is hella overrated.

A great day? That was a genuinely great submission that deserved that spot.
Granted, the author did not like that because of how it basically earned that spot from being video game related, but regardless of that the animation is amazing, well directed, and exciting!
